I have worked with adults who have depression, anxiety, and those with self-image/self-esteem concerns. I also have worked with married couples as well as premarital couples and am certified as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator. I love to coach and work with teens and individuals on a proactive basis in helping them set goals and become better versions of themselves.   I am also trained in EMDR therapy. Hi! My name is Imelda “Mely” Burch. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science degree from Midwestern State University and a Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling, from Lubbock Christian University. I am currently a full-time counselor with Rolling Plains Counseling & Wellness Center.  I have previous experience as a group counselor for seniors. During my graduate practicum/internship, I provided case management services and crisis intervention services at a community mental health center, serving a diverse population; and also working after hours providing individual counseling at Tina Souder Counseling, now Rolling Plains Counseling & Wellness Center. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief, substance use/addiction, trauma, mood disorders, severe mental illness, adjustment difficulties and phase of life changes, etc. I believe multicultural counseling is extremely important and I am also well versed in psychological abuse. I am an ACOA and not immune to life challenges/stressors and take a transparent and person-centered approach to counseling. I believe navigating through life and healing is not linear nor the same for each individual. I strive to work from a trauma-informed approach and truly believe that people are inherently good and can overcome even the most daunting challenges in life. My goal is to ultimately help others and not hurt them. I will hold space for you, meet you where you are at, and assist you in overcoming life stressors to help embrace your full potential and use your gifts.

Howdy, my name is Abby Lenz. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from B.H. Carroll Theological Institute. I am currently a part-time counselor on staff at Rolling Plains Counseling & Wellness Center seeing clients in Wellington, Clarendon, Wellington and via Telehealth Monday-Wednesday. Throughout my graduate studies I gained experience in a diverse range of struggle areas including behavioral disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and grief. I also have experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I am certified in SYMBIS pre-marital counseling as well as Group Crisis Intervention. With my Christian beliefs and background, I take on a holistic approach to counseling that is client-focused and takes into account mind, body, and spirit. I believe that life is full of choices, and those choices help determine whether the life experience is good or bad. Each person has within them strengths, talents, and gifts that allow them to have the ability to make the choices they wish to pursue. It is my goal to help facilitate self-awareness and the awareness of the thoughts preventing a person from living their desired life. I hope to provide clients with a safe space, where we can come together and feel comfortable healing and creating change.

Hello! My name is Lisa Koepke. I am a licensed professional counselor associate supervised by Tina Souder, M.Ed., LPC-S. I have a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in counseling, both from West Texas A&M University. I have spent 24 years working with children, adolescents, and their families as a teacher, and the last five years as a counselor. I recently retired from the school system after working as the counselor for Memphis Middle School and Memphis High School. I have a lot of experience helping students in their social and emotional development, as well as providing academic support and guiding them in their post-graduation plans. During my graduate internship, I had the privilege to work with adults of all ages who were struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, and severe mental illness. I found that I truly enjoyed helping hurting adults to heal and restore hope in their lives through the process of therapy. I believe that God has equipped all of us with the strengths and abilities we need to live life to the fullest. I would be honored to help you realize that potential as we strive to identify and change negative thought patterns that could be stealing your joy. I look forward to providing a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere where we can build a genuine, caring relationship.
